I have a nice solid Buccaneer, light blue, with a Little
Dude trailer. This boat is set up for day sailing with a jib and main. The roller furling
system is gone and it needs to have a trunk gasket (which I have) installed.
Everything else is in good condition. There have been no updates. The trailer is in
very good condition. Also includes a Rigging and Handling Guide by Harry Sindle. Make Offer

This is a great boat, it weighs just 500lbs,
it has good trailer, great sails, hard hull, spinnaker, cover, etc. It used
to be John Huebner's boat. He won the fleet 54 season with this boat. This
is a proven winner, with newer sails and a great price. If you know anyone
who wants a great boat this is it.
The sails were 1 1/2 yrs old when I got them-1 North main, 2 jibs 1
white and one mylar.

Ok guys and girls, I have storage and time
issues and really need to sell my Bucc! At this point I would much rather
just have it GONE with minimal hassle and have it go to someone that will
actually use and appreciate it, rather than go through the hassle of Ebay
or whatever.
As a result, I'm lowering my price quite a bit, if someone can come get it within
a week I would take $1000 for it! I can't imagine finding a better/more decent
Bucc or any 18 foot sailboat and trailer for that matter for less! I have a few

Its a mid 70's Chrysler, I think 75 I will have to check title, nice shape,
newer North sails, updates per Harry's book including Harken hardware and furling
system. Trailer is in good shape as well. I am sad to admit I haven't had it

The 1979K (#255DA61556)
has the wire luff, high mast step, seat-mounted jib blocks, sealed hull and
other upgrades and appears to have been gently sailed maybe 20 times. A1
condition and with lots of upgrades (but not spinnaker equipped) with an asking
price of $3400. It's been
stored either indoors or well covered with canvas. It is distinguished by the
addition of several 1/8-inch x 2- inch teak strips on the fore and aft decks
running parallel with the keel. Spars and blades are true and look like new,
hull looks nearly perfect with no indentations, blisters, or fading. Harken
equipped throughout with still-crisp Hood multi-colored sails. Modified EZ
Loader trailer has boards fore and aft of wheels for standing on both sides.
Needs new tires and fresh grease in the Bearing Buddies and maybe new lines and
it's ready to sail. Owner Nathan Scarritt is 75 years old, has owned the boat 12
years but rarely sailed it. He's living at 12034 North Boat Dock Road near
Olsburg, KS at 785.468.3531 until about 26 March 06 before moving to a home near
Gunnison, CO where he sails at Blue Mesa Reservoir. He'll return to KS in June
for the boat if it doesn't sell before then. Reach him in CO at 719.256.4220.

Excerpts from an email from Jim Irwin dated 2/12/05
Paul Haak says that the hull is in
very very good condition, all the teak work has been refinished, it is rigged
for Spinnaker (although the spinnaker is ripped). The trailer is also in good
condition. Both have title. He says the hull is very solid.
What will need to be done on this boat.... New sails
($1100 for Main and Mylar Jib from Mack. Fugly won the season with Mack Sails,
$400 for new spinnaker). The boat has sails and will sail with the old sails,
but to race you will probably need new ones. Relocate the Jib tracks to the seat.
Upgrade roller furling and jib forstay tensioner(this is not manditory but will
eventually need upgrade). Beef up rudder pivot bolt and adjust rudder gudgeons
(These are two "Chysler Must Do" items)
This would be a nice

This boat with sail #730 is in perfect shape. It has always been stored in a garage and taken care of in the best way I
could. It looks like new. I can't sail it anymore so I would like to sell
it. It has it's own trailer that goes with it. The sails (main and jib)
still have that crisp feel to them as they have been taken off each time and
folded properly and stored inside. It also has a lot of rigging that goes
with it for racing.
